1. What Lip Blush Is

Lip blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the natural shape, colour, and definition of your lips. The goal is a soft, natural tint—not a lipstick look—unless requested.

2. Results Are Personalized

Colour is fully customizable. Whether you prefer a natural flush or a more defined tint, shades are tailored to complement your skin tone and aesthetic.

3. It Heals Soft & Natural

Right after the appointment, lips appear bold and slightly swollen. As they heal, the colour softens by about 30–50%, leaving a natural, beautifully blushed finish.

4. Longevity

Lip blush typically lasts 2–3 years, depending on lifestyle, skin type, and aftercare. Touch-ups help maintain the vibrancy over time.

5. Touch-Up Is Essential

A touch-up 4–8 weeks after your first session is recommended to perfect the shape and colour and ensure long-lasting results.

6. Works for Most Skin Tones & Lip Types

The technique can enhance symmetry, define the vermillion border, and create the appearance of fuller, more balanced lips—without filler.

7. Not a Replacement for Filler

Lip blush and filler can complement each other. Blush adds colour and shape; filler adds volume. Both together can create a youthful, juicy lip look.

8. Healing Timeline

Healing takes about 7–10 days for the surface and up to 6 weeks for the colour to fully settle. Peeling is normal—no picking!

9. Pain Level

Most clients describe the sensation as mild to moderate. Numbing is applied to keep you comfortable throughout the appointment.

10. Previous PMU Matters

If you’ve had previous lip blush or other PMU, results may vary depending on the saturation and placement of old pigment. An assessment might be needed.

11. Cold Sores

If you’re prone to cold sores, lip blush can trigger a flare-up. Preventative medication from your doctor is usually recommended.

12. Aftercare Is Key

Proper aftercare ensures the best results. This includes keeping lips moisturized, avoiding picking, staying out of direct sun, and skipping spicy foods on day one.

13. Not Everyone Is a Candidate

Certain medical conditions, medications, or active lip issues (like cold sores) may require approval or may delay treatment.

14. Natural Enhancement, Not a Full Lipstick Look

Lip blush enhances your natural lips. It can give a tinted-balm effect but doesn’t replicate opaque lipstick.

15. Long-Term Maintenance

Over time, pigment will gradually fade. You can refresh the colour with periodic touch-ups every 1–2 years if desired.
